- This version of the game recycles many assets (and likely the same engine) from Rayman 2: The Great Escape.
- The Box art features Rayman wearing jeans and blue shoes, with his default hoodie. However this costume combination does not appear anywhere in the game itself.
- Much like its GameBoy: Advance counterpart (Rayman Raving Rabbids GBA), this game is a sidescrolling platformer, while the main home console title is comprised only of minigames.
